Following the recent 'no' votes for ratifying the EU Constitution in France and Holland, Liverpool business were asked whether they would ratify it in a UK referendum. 51% voted 'yes' and 49% 'no'.

Liverpool City Centre Parking (03/06/05)
Liverpool's business community were asked to vote on whether they thought car parking was adequate for business needs in Liverpool City Centre. 83% of respondents thought that parking was not adequate, while 17% thought it was.

Working Time Directive Opt Out Clause (20/05/05)
Following the recent vote by the European Parliament to scrap the UK's Working Time Directive opt out clause, we asked businesses to vote on the issue and found that 95% of Merseyside business did not make use of the opt out clause, with 5% of businesses indicating that they did.
